The link in the 1st sentence (1) doesn’t appear to provide relevant information and (2) is from the NYT, even tho the 2d sentence appears to imply that it should be the WaPo.

Otherwise, a good and useful article. I do think it covers some of the ground that Jane Mayer covered in “The Black Sites” in the New Yorker – a hat tip to her might have been nice.
