Ileana Ros-Lehtinen: Cool Glasses, But Barking Mad

Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) is arguably the craziest member of Congress. The sound of her voice is like wolves barking at the moon.
She's quoting Zawahiri! "The battalions of the mujahideen, after expelling the occupier from Iraq, shall march to Jerusalem." She says she's "willing to take them at their word." Good! How about the parts about them wanting us to stay in Iraq forever so we can be bled-to-bankruptcy?
Oh, and if you don't want to stay in Iraq forever to fight Al Qaeda, Iran, and Cobra Commander, she said, you just don't understand what American interests demand. OMG she just said that we have to treat Iraq as "a sovereign nation" -- by occupying it for all time! Ah-woooooooooooo...

Insane, but she’s got tough competition from those CA Republicans. It’s quite fortunate for all of them that there seem to be no sanity requirements for party admission, nor for holding elected office.
