Hillary Clinton's campaign showed new signs of stress on Sunday.
Patti Solis Doyle, Clinton's longtime confidante and campaign manager, is stepping aside and Maggie Williams, another old member of Hillaryland, is taking over.
In a brief statement, Clinton said:
Patti Solis Doyle has done an extraordinary job in getting us to this point - within reach of the nomination - and I am enormously grateful for her friendship and her outstanding work.
In her own note to the campaign staff, Patti Solis Doyle sounded tired:
This has already been the longest Presidential campaign in the history of our nation, and one that has required enormous sacrifices from all of us and our families.
There's still a long way to go.

If the “product” doesn’t sell, one must invariably change the “sales team.” However if the product itself is the problem, well it must be time for that classic American ‘new and improved’ strategy. If that doesn’t work, Americans will put that “product” back on the shelf. The candidates have been at it for a year now and the conventions aren’t until summer. The candidates are out on the money stump and American service boys and girls are STILL FREAKING dying in Iraq! Hillary owns that nasty Iraq genocide and she can never shake that reality. It is fair to observe that America is weary of Bush’s ‘war of terror’ and Hillary was part and parcel of the sales pitch. Bye bye Ms. Hillary and here we hardly knew ye. Well except for that Iraq war thingy.
